Globe sells ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini in one app from 49 pesos

Globe Telecom is selling access to five of the biggest AI chatbots through one app, with packs that start at 49 pesos. The telco announced the tie-up on July 17 with an app called AI Fiesta, which puts ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek behind a single login.

You do not pay a separate monthly fee for each one. Globe sells what it calls access packs, and the app runs on tokens. Tokens are the app's currency, and a harder prompt burns more of them than a simple one. The app also carries an Image Studio for making pictures, a deep research mode, live web search, and a Super Fiesta Mode that picks which model should answer you.

Why 49 pesos is the whole point

Paying for one of these AI services on your own normally means a credit card, a charge in dollars, and a subscription that keeps billing whether you open it or not. That is the wall most Filipinos hit, and it is why a lot of people only ever use the free versions. A 49 peso pack follows the same logic as a sachet of shampoo or a load top-up. You buy what you can afford today, and you stop whenever you want.

The second useful part is that you can send one prompt to several models at once and read the answers side by side. Globe says the point is to see which system handles writing, research or creative work best. That matters because these chatbots are not equally good at the same jobs, and until now the only way to compare them was to pay for all of them.

The catch to watch

Globe has published the entry price and very little else. Across the announcement and the coverage that followed it, nobody has said how many tokens 49 pesos buys, how long a pack lasts, what the bigger packs cost, or what happens when your tokens run out in the middle of an answer. A price with no unit attached is hard to compare against anything. Until Globe posts the token counts, treat 49 pesos as the cost of trying it once, not as a monthly budget you can plan around.

The other thing worth sitting with is who you are handing your questions to. AI Fiesta is not a Globe product. BusinessMirror reported that it is an Indian startup, run by chief executive and co-founder Mohammad Hasan. Your prompts pass through that company's app before they ever reach ChatGPT or Gemini. For homework and recipes that is fine. For anything touching your salary, your health or your business, it is worth knowing there is one more company standing in the middle.
